On Monday, November 16th, the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum will join several local businesses on Alice Street, Main Street, and St. James Street in hosting a variety of artisan vendors and crafters selling unique or handmade gift items.
The annual Waterford Christmas Stop & Shop Night is an evening event geared at bringing the community together to kick off the holiday shopping season and encourage Norfolk County residents to BUY LOCAL!
So get a jump on your holiday gift list (or perhaps even your own wish list!) by visiting the museum’s Bowlby Bros. & Co. gift shop. We carry home and garden products, unique seasonal items, and books on local history. We also have a selection of vintage inspired and novelty toys that make excellent stocking stuffers for all those good boys and girls who have made it onto Santa’s “Nice” list.
Light refreshments will be served.
Interested in becoming a vendor?
Vendor registration opens TUESDAY, AUGUST 4th at 10:00 a.m.
There is a $20 fee per vendor to be paid in advance. This fee is to off-set the cost of advertising and light refreshments at the event. Please note that you will not be considered registered for this event unless the vendor fee is paid (we accept payment using cash, cheque, or debit ONLY).
Please bring your Vendor Application Form (linked below) with you when you visit the museum to pay your Vendor Fee.

Are you a vendor selling or sampling food items?
Vendors selling food items will need to fill out a Special Event Food Provider Application from the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit (found on their website) and submit it to Catherine at the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum no later than 45 days prior to the event.
Norfolk County Junior Makers
Did you know that WHAM introduced a Junior Maker to our Stop & Shop event last year?
Lexi did such an amazing job that we decided to host two (2) Junior Makers again this year! Better still, Kerrys St James Street Eatery has kindly agreed to host a third!
So, if you are a young entrepreneur between the ages of 11-18 and make some type of handmade goods (knitting, crafts, jewelry, soaps, Christmas ornaments, art, etc.) we’d love to have you at WHAM or Kerry’s for this awesome community event.
Please note: The vendor registration fee will be waived for our young entrepreneurs.
To apply for a spot, please email (or have a parent email) Catherine at firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information (including the name of your budding business!), the type of items that you sell, and a few photos to show off samples of your fantastic handmade goods.
The application deadline is September 30th.
