Please join us on February 8th for An Evening at the Museum - a joint fundraiser in support of both our museum and the upcoming Waterford Skateboard Park which will soon be located on the land just west of our building.

There'll be great local food provided by Kerry's St. James Street Eatery (including an amazing chocolate fondue buffet!), plenty of local beer and wine, and live music courtesy of Norfolk's own The Shrubberies.

Tickets ($35/person) and can be purchased in advance at either Kerry's Eatery or the museum, or at the door. Your ticket entitles you to two drink sample tickets. Additional drink tickets can be purchased at the event.

Please note: This is a 19+ event.

11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Every year during Waterford's amazing Pumpkinfest weekend, the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum throws open its doors for a few extra hours to welcome our community and help celebrate Waterford and the former Townsend Township's rich agricultural history.

Join us on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to visit our main gallery (with its focus on Waterford's rich history) and take in our newest exhibits Crafted Heritage: Norfolk County Furniture Makers and POP! A Soda Water History. Then, tour our Agricultural Gallery, which features some fantastic farm machinery from bygone eras, and an exhibit highlighting the achievements of our 2020 inductees in the Norfolk County Agricultural Hall of Fame.

Bringing children? Ask our staff about our museum scavenger hunt!

Admission by donation.

Canadians during the Second World War answered the call in more ways than one! While soldiers fought and nurses tended the wounded overseas, the Canadian Red Cross and Women’s Institutes across our country rallied together to feed war ravaged Great Britain, launching the hugely successful Jam for Britain campaign.

Join us at WHAM as Samantha George, Curator of Parkwood Estate National Historic Site in Oshawa, ON, and Vice President of the Culinary Historians of Canada, provides a glimpse into the home front tenacity - peeled, chopped, stewed down, and preserved into 4lbs tins. Samantha previously participated in Field kitchen and Trench Foods demonstrations at Vimy100 commemorations in France in 2017.

Admission by donation.
