Fashion exhibit in Waterford

PAST EXHIBITS

Explore never-before seen pieces from WHAM’s textile collection, showcasing 100 years of fashion including WHAM’s rarest examples of accessories, formal attire, wedding dresses and “bathing costumes”. This exhibit will rotate pieces with each season and run until December 16th of 2016.

WHAM’s collection of textiles includes over 1500 pieces of fashion – some dating as far back as 1880. This exhibit will highlight the treasures of the collection, along with accessories that completed the ensemble.

Showcasing the cyclical nature of fashion, the exhibit features the comparison to modern fashion with pieces from local store and community partner Jordan Stewart of Simcoe. Families will enjoy the hands-on dress up component allowing visitors to experience clothing of the past first hand!
