As a pottery enthusiast and collector of early Canadiana, Johnson brings with him an impressive background on the subject. This is a not to be missed WHAM event!

Meet the Speaker:
The author of “The Potter’s Reach,” Moe Johnson, graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University with an Honours BA, concentrating in finance, and earned credits in Russian History, and Chinese and Canadian Economic History. He and his wife, Janice Johnson, have studied and collected important Canadian artifacts including stoneware and earthenware pottery, furniture, fraktur, textiles and folk art over a period of thirty-five years. He has written various articles for The Upper Canadian magazine and its successor, Canadian Antiques and Vintage (CAAV) on 19th-century Ontario pottery and other subjects, and lectured on related topics. The author of the forthcoming book “The Potter’s Reach” founded and supported the Annual Cabin Fever Antique Show Lecture and Preview series in Kingston.
